The agenda for Tuesday night’s Board meeting is posted. Here are the highlights:
- The Board will elect a new President and Vice President and re-adopt the Board’s Rules and Procedures for the 2010 year. A proposal to modify the Board’s Rules and Procedures will also come before the Board for first reading.
- The Board will consider a proposal from the Superintendent concerning the locations of the Cobb General Ed and Montessori programs.
- The Board will hear an informational update on the new 9th grade Ethnic Studies course to be piloted at five high schools in 2010-11.
- The Board will consider a proposal from the Superintendent to raise the threshold for administrative approval of contracts to $25,000 from the current threshold of $8,000.
