I value comments from readers of this blog. But over time I have come to realize that it is best to be more selective about which comments I publish. You may submit a comment on any post within 30 days of the date it was published, or offer a general comment at any time by sending an email to:

I will:
- read every comment;
- publish representative responses;
- reserve the right to edit comments for length, accuracy or tone.
I would like to be as transparent and responsive as I can, because I see this blog as a way of informing constituents about the inner workings of educational policymaking in San Francisco. But it is still my blog and so I don’t think I need to provide a forum for people who want to:
- Insult me;
- Transmit misinformation; or
- Hijack the discussion.
I will use those yardsticks and make my own calls about which comments to publish and which to delete. Thanks for reading!
